I'll dominate 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
